New Publication: The Harvard Lectures of Alfred North Whitehead, 1924-1925: Philosophical Presuppositions of Science
After years of diligent effort by the critical edition team, the Whitehead Research Project is very pleased to announce the publication of the first volume of the The Edinburgh Critical Edition of the Complete Works of Alfred North Whitehead: The Harvard Lectures of Alfred North Whitehead, 1924-1925: Philosophical Presuppositions of Science, Paul A. Bogaard and Jason Bell, Eds., (Edinburgh University Press, 2017). These represent the first ever philosophy lectures he gave and capture him working out the philosophical implications of the remarkable turns physics had taken in his lifetime.
